Dr. Ricky Lane, Statesboro dentist, has practiced dentistry in Statesboro for over three decades. He stays current with the latest advancements in dentistry. He regularly completes continuing education courses. He also serves as the former president and current treasurer of the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Lane completed advanced postgraduate training. He graduated from the L.D. Pankey Institute in Florida, where he studied restorative dentistry, aesthetic dentistry, splint therapy, and advanced procedures.
Cosmetic dentistry training with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics further expanded his expertise. This training allows him to administer Botox® and dermal fillers.
Dr. Ricky Lane earned Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). To achieve this honor, he completed over 1,100 hours of continuing education within five years. The Academy of General Dentistry awards this distinction as its highest level of achievement. Their program also requires written and oral examinations conducted by professional peers.
When he is not working, Dr. Ricky enjoys water skiing and spending time on the farm. He also enjoys hunting and watching football. Time with his three sons, Zachary, Ellis, and Justin, remains especially important to him.
In the community, he stays active through First Baptist Church and the Statesboro Rotary Club. He also serves on the advisory board of the Ogeechee Technical College Dental Assisting Program.
